History of Personal Care

Established in 1980, Personal Care got its start when founder Anna Grace Green saw that many older adults in her community were in need of assistance. From the beginning, Anna Grace employed only carefully selected compassionate, and professional companions to give seniors the most excellent assistance available.

In 1985, Personal Care came under the leadership of new owner Elizabeth (Libba) Fairleigh. Shortly thereafter, Libba was joined by fellow Presbyterian minister Martha Clinkscales as partner and co-owner in 1988. Under their leadership, Personal Care grew by leaps and bounds. Today we employ over 150 Certified Nursing Assistants, L.P.N.'s, and R.N.'s. Our mission in 1980 is the same as our mission today, to provide the most comprehensive, quality care available.

After 23 years of dedicated service, Libba retired as President and Co-Owner of Personal Care in 2008. Libba contributed an immense amount to the life, identity, and success of Personal Care. Through the efforts of Martha and Libba, Personal Care has seen its services grow, along with its connection with the Atlanta community.

Personal Care has continued to expand its services under the leadership of Martha, and looks forward to continuing to find ways to serve you and your family in the future.
